Hi, All Senior Players Past, Present and Future,


Yes its summertime, but it’s that time of the year again when the club is starting to work on the formation of the teams for the upcoming 2025 Winter season.


Now that you have been spurred on by your kids over summer…. it’s now time for you to shine!!!


Last year we had 7 teams, and 5 of those teams would have made the post season had it not been washed out.


PLEASE REMEMBER: Winter players must be physically 15 years old to play in the adult competition.


StGBA U16 Proposed Competition

At the last CSJBA meeting a proposal was discussed for the resumption of winter baseball for kids under the St George Baseball Association. This competition would be open to kids of League Age 14, 15 or 16.

This is just an EOI at the moment, so please email registrations@illawongbaseball.com.au
and let us know if your child is eligible and interested in playing.


Other Options for Kids

The CSJBA is talking about reestablishing their winter development for the kids, but those details won’t be available until towards the end of the summer season. Should this not proceed, the Club may look at running its own Winter Development program.



Online registrations will open in early February, stay tuned for those announcements.


Following the registrations we will have a meeting in mid-March, to have a formal discussion about teams and players etc. During that meeting we are hoping to finalise the following:

Number of teams Grading of teams Assigning Coaches and Managers to the teams Senior Social Outings for season
